Our Story
I'm Hugo, hiking enthusiast and the person behind Dolomites Guide. Based in Annecy in the French Alps, I've spent multiple seasons trekking across the Dolomites and previously built tmb-guide.com for the Tour du Mont Blanc. After years of planning trips in the Dolomites, I noticed it felt unnecessarily complicated. Finding the right itinerary, booking mountain huts, understanding trail conditions, figuring out transfers - too many hikers spend more time researching than actually enjoying the mountains. So I decided to build the resource I wished I had.
Behind the scenes, we partner with a family-run adventure travel agency founded in 1983 and based in the French Alps. With over 40 years of experience, a team of 20+ travel specialists, and 40+ professional mountain guides holding state-certified diplomas, they bring deep logistical expertise to every trip. When you're ready to turn your plans into reality, we handle the details - hut reservations, luggage transfers, detailed roadbooks - so you can focus entirely on the trail.
